Pravas: Ashok Saraf And Padmini Kolhapure Starrer Marathi Film Now Streaming On Amazon Prime
Legendary actors Ashok Saraf and Padmini Kolhapure starrer movie 'Prawaas' along with the 'Anna' hitmaker Shashank Udapurkar, currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
During the time of the Covid-19 pandemic where people are in the lockdown, there has been a tremendous increase in the consumption of content on the digital platforms. The legendary actors Ashok Saraf and Padmini Kolhapure starrer film, Prawaas which released on 14th February this year is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
Both Shashank Udapurkar and Padmini Kolhapure who portrayed the role of Dilip and Lata Inamdar respectively in the film took to their Instagram handle to spread the word about the digital streaming of their film. The film which is written and directed by Shashank himself was welcomed and loved by the audience for its relatable content and ordinary but larger than life characters.
The film is about the journey of an elderly couple named Abhijat and Lata Inamdar played by the legendary veterans. Abhijat too had dreams like many other people when he first came to Mumbai but his dreams got overtaken by responsibility when he got married to Lata and started his family. Now with his deteriorating health due to the failure of both his kidneys, he starts to look at life in a different manner and wants to help the needy, as he believes that's where the real happiness and richness of life belong. His son Dilip played by Shashank works far away from his parents in the US.
Vikram Gokhale, Rajat Kapur and the Golmaal hitmaker Shreyas Talpade are some of the other actors to be seen in the film.
